Introduction

Nowadays students have extensive opportunities to access information through technology, and manage their own learning in a variety of ways. Students are no longer passive consumers of content and knowledge; they actively create, share, publish, and are able to design their own learning and professional experiences. Learner autonomy is vital for students to deal with the real-world contexts, challenges and opportunities of their time.

This workshop has been designed to help teachers with some strategies that will help them set autonomous learning experiences inside and outside the classroom. We will also gain insight on how to develop long-life learning skills and behaviors that can be in alignment with their interests, goals and passions.
