Grammatical knowledge is an indication of English level, and many educational establishments use grammar tests to assess new students’ level of English before they start a new course. This is a 59-question multiple choice grammar test with questions graded from beginner to advanced. At the end of the test you will receive your score instantly and via email, along with a comparison to the English levels set out by the Common European Framework or Reference for Languages (CEFR).

This test is completely free of charge.
