Fiona Dovo

– actress, director, trainer

Fiona Dovo graduated in playwriting at Paolo Grassi School of Dramatic Arts in Milan. She has won national awards both as an actress and as a playwright. In 2005 she founded Teatro delle Formiche, a company with which she produced her own brand new play for adults and kids and went touring with all over Italy. As a comic actress, she has been in various TV programmes including Colorado (Italia 1) which had an average audience of about 3 million people per night. Her speciality is visual comedy sketches. She has studied: clown technique with Leo Bassi, Jango Edwards and Paolo Nani; puppet technique with Obratzov, Bread and Puppet and Teatrino dell’Erba Matta companies, and the Meisner Method. She works as a street artist in various Italian Festivals. As an actress she has been in more than 30 theatrical productions, working with directors such as: Corrado Accordino, Sebastiano Giorgetti, Yuri Ferrini, Daniela Ardini, Marco Gherardi e Andrea Lanza. Sarah Gibbon

– actress, trainer

Sarah studied drama at ATIR – Teatro Ringhiera in Milan, has been directed by Serena Sinigaglia, specialized in stage combat with Sandro Maria Campagna in Rome and in acrobatics and circus with Paolo Dei Giudici in Milan. Today she works as an actress, assistant director, playwright, performer and stunt person for events, operas, theatre and videos. She also teaches acrobatics, drama, horse riding and vaulting to adults, children and disabled people. In 2015 she co-founded “Terzo Tempo Ululì” in Milan – Bovisa, a space for circus, dancing and theatre, where the shows of her own theatre company, “ZEITNOT,” founded in 2014, are also produced.

Martina Greenwood

– actress, trainer

Martina Greenwood has trained in Italy, Switzerland, France and England and her experience range from courses at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris to the New York Film Academy to the Paolo Grassi School of Dramatic Arts in Milan. Martina is bilingual (English – Italian) and gained experience teaching English to children, teenagers and adults during her studies at the Università della Svizzera Italiana, which she graduated from in 2015, in Communication Sciences. Since then she has collaborated with ProJuventute, teaching English to young adults who had yet to complete high school. She has also gained experience teaching drama to children and has worked as a creative producer for the Swiss theatre company V XX Zweetz, which was chosen for the Rencontre du Théâtre Suisse 2016.

Sara Corso

– actress, trainer

She is a London-based Italian actress. After a solid acting career in both theatre and TV in Italy, she decided to expand her horizons and potential abroad. She has spent the last few years living in France, England and America (Los Angeles and New York), working with award-winning acting coach Jack Waltzer. Highlights of her career have included working with American actors such as Barry Primus (America Hustle, New York New York) and David Proval (Mean Streets, The Sopranos), International actors such as Maddalena Ischiale (Unbroken) and up-and-coming award-winning director Giacomo Arrigoni (The Rule Of Lead). She speaks fluent French, Italian and English and she has yoga and acrobatic skills. Her university studies and acting career combined later on in a thesis on the artistic and therapeutic benefits of the use of the voice, including singing, according to techniques that she had started in those younger years and that she is still practising. In 2012 she left Italy to go to Paris and then to London.

Stefano Barbieri

– sound engineer, light design

The best directors claim that 60% of a show is made up of lights and audio. Stefano can magically make any show a masterpiece with its technical capabilities. He has been the technical director of the Teatro delel Formiche since 2006 and has always worked with lights and sound, making each show an explosion of contemporary magic.

Dario Li Calsi

– video maker / audio video tech

Dario is experienced in designing; designing, shooting and assembling various products with semi-professional equipment. Some of the works have been displayed in the Museum Shipyard. He has worked on Primocanale, and has experience of direct performances, chronicle services, and “colour services” which are fitting for peak network transmissions. He uses professional cameras, dedicated computers and ad hoc software for audio / video editing.
