CEC was founded 40 years ago by our present Managing Director, Valery Cullen. We are a family-run
organisation that takes great pride in the service and personal contact we provide for each of our clients. CEC is recognised by the Department of Education and Skills for the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language. CEC is also a member of Quality English. Apart from organising language programmes for adults and juniors, CEC organises all elements of your stay in Ireland. We organise the course, transfers to and from the airport, accommodation, extracurricular activities and excursions. CEC is an authorised Cambridge ESOL, IELTS, BULATS, TOEIC. OET and Trinity College London examination centre in Cork.

Cork English College runs Junior programmes each year which are exciting and innovative. The main aim of the courses is to improve the students' use and command of the English Language through activities. Our main centres are located in good residential suburbs of Cork City. Douglas Community School hosts students who are staying with Host Families and Cork Institute of Technology, Bishopstown hosts students who are staying in our residential centre. All of our activities are fully supervised by professional trainers.
