This is important because the TEFL course is a teaching methodology programme, not a language course; therefore, there will be no explicit grammar teaching during the course. There will however be references to grammar terminology and concepts throughout the course, in particular in the Teaching Grammar Module. The Language Awareness Course will give you an overview of grammar and help you understand the important grammar points in order to prepare you for the course.
You will have access to the grammar course throughout the course as a reference.
At the end of the course, you will receive a Gallery Teachers certificate with an individual verification number. Embossed hard copy certificate is also available free of charge and can be posted worldwide on request.
The 180-Hour TEFL certificate is issued by Gallery Teachers and is recognised worldwide and usually sufficient for obtaining English teaching jobs in most non-majority English-speaking countries. This certificate can be verified and notarized.
The truth is, you get what you pay for. Quite often you will find courses with poorly compiled and organised PDFs or e-books and without any face-to-face training with an experienced trainer. These courses will not prepare you for starting a career in teaching English as a foreign language.
