What is the most famous story about Christmas?

No doubt 9 out of 10 people will agree that it is A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens, and for our December video we asked Emma Lauson and Sam Patel of KKCL to produce a lesson based on that popular tale; this was the result…

I came up with the idea to make the story interactive. So here it goes…as most people know the story already, you can play the video. Sam tells a bit of a story, then your students have to complete it, and it doesn’t have to be accurate. The idea is to stimulate as much social and linguistic creativity as possible.

In fact, the crazier the answers, the better. Let your students have fun with it, participate and exchange ideas. Every classroom has its joker and now is the time for the jokers to shine. We wanted to make this lesson as amusing as possible.

Later, you can read the story as it is, with the official answers.

Don’t worry if you don’t have the facilities to run our video in your classroom; on this page you can download our worksheets for your students (with the gaps to fill) and for you (with the complete story).

Have fun!
