I’m buying a trampoline for a family with children of different ages. I’ve heard rectangular trampolines provide a more consistent bounce, while round models are often recommended for general family use. For those who’ve owned both, which did you end up preferring and why?
I know this thread is a bit old, but I wanted to chime in. We had a round one first, then switched to a rectangular for our older kids. The bounce really is more even across the whole mat, which made tricks and jumps less awkward. Plus, the extra jumping space lengthwise is great for taller kids. Did you end up making a choice, Alex?
Rectangular trampolines do give a more consistent bounce, which older kids often prefer for practicing tricks. I bought a rectangular one from trampoline and my teenagers love it. Round ones are safer for younger siblings, but for older kids, the rectangular shape is worth considering. Check their site for size options to fit your garden.
