      Reflective Questions:
      1. What is your experience of dictation, both as a student and as a teacher?
      2. What type of dictation activities have you used in the ESL classroom?
      3. How can dictation be used in the student-centred classroom?

1.- as. student I used to enjoy dictations a lot as it helped me to avoid future mistakes. As a teacher I don’t mindset, dictstions are not top of my list as it has a great deal to do with my students attitude. A dictation, I find, in todays teaching scenario, has to be fun and challenging.Students seem to love running dictations but, as I have mentioned above, not all students engage into it as much as I would like.
2.- Mostly running dictations, but also listening to a particular song to use it as a dictation.
3.- They can be used to improve spelling and to learn how to discriminate between words that sound the same but are spell different.
