E350 transmission stuck in limp mode, anyone know a good shop near Muwaileh?

This morning my E350 went into limp mode out of nowhere, stuck in what feels like third gear and refusing to shift up or down. I managed to crawl it home but now I am stuck with a car I cannot really drive and no idea where to take it. I have read that this can be caused by a lot of things, conductor plate, speed sensor, or even just low fluid, but I am not about to start guessing. I have been trying to find a trusted Mercedes transmission garage near Muwaileh since that is close to where I stay, but I do not want to hand it to just anyone because these gearboxes are not cheap to get wrong. Has anyone dealt with limp mode on a 7G tronic and what was the actual cause in your case? Also is it safe to drive short distances in limp mode or am I risking doing more damage?
