I’m trying to make my garden seating more comfortable rather than just adding more furniture. Has anyone compared a hanging egg chair with a good traditional outdoor armchair for longer periods of relaxing?

Hanging egg chairs look amazing on social media and feel fun for a quick coffee, but the curved back can feel restricting if you want to curl up with a laptop or read for several hours.

Classic outdoor chairs are much more comfortable for long periods of relaxation thanks to reliable support for the back, while hanging cocoons create comfort, but quickly tire the neck with a long sitting. Massive metal racks require precise alignment and reliable assembly, otherwise the entire structure will start to creak and wobble on uneven tiles. Owners of country recreation areas often order furniture assembly Toronto assembly to accurately tighten all fasteners, balance the hinges and check the safety of the frame under load. The combination of a classic chaise longue with a neatly assembled hanging chair allows you to get maximum comfort without unnecessary compromises.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I wanted to chime in
For long stretches, a hanging egg chair lets you sway gently and recline deeper, which many find better for relaxation than sitting rigidly upright
Traditional chairs offer more back support for reading or eating
Have you tested one for a full hour yet? That real feel usually decides it

For longer relaxation, I found the hanging egg chair much better for lounging than a traditional upright armchair
The gentle sway and deeper seat really help you sink in
I actually use an egg chair from this collection and the cushion support holds up well for hours of reading or napping without needing extra furniture
