Do you plan your social media content weeks in advance, or do you prefer creating posts as trends emerge? Which approach has helped you stay consistent while still producing relevant content?

I know this thread is a bit old, but I just had to chime in. I’ve found that a loose calendar with weekly themes works best, then I fill in specific posts based on what’s trending. Do you ever feel like planning too far ahead makes you miss out on timely jokes or news?

I balance both approaches by scheduling core posts weeks ahead and leaving room for trending topics. When I need to check if a new image I want to use is already linked to an existing account, I run it through https://face2social.com/ to see where it appears. That helps me spot fake profiles quickly and decide whether to engage or pivot my content plan.
