Participant1.- Encourage students’ participation in class and make them responsible for their own learning. Present them with some choices, but allow them to expose and present their own and the reasons behind their choice .Praise them for their effort.
2.- The teacher is there to foster the autonomy giving students guidelines to investigate and to follow course. Clarify doubts and help to build their self-confidence with relevant tasks and activities.
3.- Critical and analytical skills, in my opinion. are a must if we want our students to be autonomous and make the right choices.
4.-They become self-confident,learning is important and matters. It is not simply surfing the wave but getting deeper into the matter and establishing and analysing linguistic links and the benefits of learning.
