ParticipantSo I’ve got a bit of a confession to make, I’m usually pretty good at keeping the outside of my car clean but the interior has always been a different story entirely because I’ve got two kids who seem to treat the back seats like a snack station and a playground combined. Over the last couple of years the beige leather in my Passat had gone from looking classy to looking honestly embarrassing with all these dark stains from spilled drinks and ground in crumbs and just general grime that no amount of vacuuming or over the counter cleaners could touch. I’d basically given up hope and was just accepting that my car was going to look rough on the inside forever until a mate of mine told me about a place that does really thorough interior work with steam cleaning and proper extraction machines that actually pull the dirt out instead of just pushing it around. I was a bit skeptical at first because I’ve tried those DIY foam cleaners before and they never really delivered but I figured it was worth a shot since the car was already in rough shape anyway. When I picked it up I genuinely couldn’t believe my eyes because the leather had actually gone back to that matte finish it had when the car was brand new and even the carpet mats looked like they’d been replaced. I’m not exaggerating when I say it felt like I was sitting in someone else’s car and honestly I found myself just sitting in the driveway for a few minutes admiring how clean everything was. For anyone else in the same boat I’d seriously recommend looking into Professional Volkswagen detailing in Musaffah because they really know how to bring these interiors back to life without damaging the delicate materials that VW uses. Now I just need to figure out how to keep it looking this way with the kids still using the car on a daily basis, might have to enforce a strict no food rule which I’m sure they’ll love.
