Have a quick think about the reflective questions below in order to get the most out of the workshop:
      1. What does your own board work usually look like?
      2. What principles underpin your own boardwork? Why do you do things the way you do them?
      3. What kinds of questions do you usually ask about the vocabulary you’re focusing on? Why?
      4. To what degree do you now feel you might shift the way you do things? What would you like to start doing next?

1.- Pretty busy. I use an interactive white board and I try to organise it as effectively as possible. Using an interactive whiteboard, I can have my materials ready for presentation before hand.
2.-Objectives, topic, grammatical structure, vocabulary. To provide coherence and introduce the steps we are going to be following during the lesson.
3.-The vocabulary revolves around the topic and before starting the lesson I introduce some of the relevant vocabulary and then a warm up speaking activity to find out how much the students know about the topic and to check if they are familiar with some of the new vocabulary being introduced.
4.- I believe, that I am learning new things all the time and I am willing to change my methodology when I see a better way to improve my teaching and the students’ skills. There is always room for improvement and, I am sure, I may be able to revise this question again once I have seen the presentation and learnt about new methods and contrast them with my own.

      1. My whiteboard is used for presenting grammar and vocabulary examples.
      2. Objectives and lesson outcomes.Presentation of the new target language.
      3. I usually ask target questions about the text’s basic meaning and then I proceed with focusing on any unfamiliar words. I want my students to get familiar with the context first by eliciting different vocabulary items.
      4. I think that I would definitely expand more on my using more contextual examples.
