ParticipantHello to all my community members we have decided to create a portal for our school where we can have all access to our tutors and students. Their attendance and their grades will be uploaded over there. While having a tutor background for the past 8 years I don’t how to create it. if you have any suggestions on where to find an affordable mobile application development company that can create an app for us within our budget? do share with me thanks

ParticipantBased on 10+ years of experience in educational app development at Impero IT Services, here’s a practical approach we recommend when schools come to us with similar requests.
1. App’s Core Objective:
Is your app for:
- Live classes or recorded modules?
- Parent-teacher communication?
- Homework tracking or quizzes?
- Multi-language or gamified learning?
We recently worked with a UK-based language school that initially just wanted “an app”. But after a few discovery calls, the core need turned out to be automated attendance, push notifications for schedule changes & in-app student assessments—which drastically changed the architecture and budget.
2. Developers with EdTech Experience
You can search platforms like:
- Clutch.co
- GoodFirms
- LinkedIn
- Upwork/Freelancer
3. Ask for Demos, Not Just Portfolios
show past modules for features like:
- Student login with progress dashboard
- Teacher/admin backend to upload materials
- Gamified quizzes and badges
- Calendar integrations for scheduling
4. Plan for Post-Launch Support
Many schools forget this: apps need updates, bug fixes & content uploads regularly. Ask your developer whether they offer long-term support, cloud hosting or CMS panels so your non-tech staff can manage content on their own.
One of our clients in Ireland needed ongoing support for uploading new curriculum videos monthly. We built them a CMS, and now their admin team does it in-house without waiting on us—saving both time and money.
