A petition has been signed by nearly 30,000 individuals demanding that the development of more advanced artificial intelligence (AI) systems be halted immediately. The possibility that artificial intelligence (AI) may become self-sustaining and surpass human intelligence is one of the most significant worries, as it could result in a loss of control over its actions and behaviour.
