How do habits form (both good and bad)?

  1. What is a habit? What are some examples of good and bad habits?
  2. How are habits formed, according to the expert in the video? Why does the brain ‘learn’ this behaviour?
  3. What are some of the potential ‘cues’ that lead to habit formation?
  4.  What is the ‘cue-behaviour-reward loop’, according to the expert?
  5. What does it mean to ‘break’ a bad habit?

  1. Do you have a bad habit you would like to break? 
  2. Have you tried to break this habit before? If yes, why do you think you weren’t successful?
