Types of emergencies and preparedness

  1. What are some common types of emergencies that people may experience in their lives?
  2. Can you share an experience where you or someone you know faced an emergency situation? How was it handled?
  3. What are some essential items to have in an emergency kit? Why are these items important?
  4. How can communities and individuals prepare for emergencies? What steps should be taken to reduce risks?
  5. Do you know how to perform basic first aid or CPR? Why is it important to learn these skills?

Responding to emergencies and seeking help

  1. How should people react when they encounter an emergency? What steps should be taken to stay calm and safe?
  2. What is the role of emergency services (such as police, firefighters, and paramedics) in responding to emergencies? How can we best utilize their help?
  3. How important is it to have an emergency plan in place for your family or workplace? What should be included in this plan?
  4. In what situations should someone call an emergency number? Can you provide examples of when it’s necessary?
  5. What are some ways that we can support others who have been affected by an emergency? How can we offer help and comfort?
